Yes! You vs Homer is completely free to play on Roblox. The only in-game purchases are cosmetic skins bought with Quidz (earned by playing). There are no pay-to-win mechanics.
You earn Quidz by playing rounds. Surviving as Bart gives 15-25 Quidz, playing Homer gives 10-30 Quidz depending on eliminations. Daily logins and special events (HOMERWEEN, BARTMAS) also award bonus Quidz. See our full Quidz guide.
Ghost Bart (555 Quidz) is the best overall — semi-transparent model is hardest to spot. 2D Bart (60 Quidz) is the best budget S-tier. Emo (235 Quidz) is the best mid-range. Check our full tier list.
Skins are cosmetic but some provide stealth advantages. Dark-colored skins (Emo, Ghost, Witch) blend into shadows. 2D Bart's flat model is invisible from the side. Small-model skins (The Dud, Lisa) are harder to spot in tight spaces.
No — You vs Homer does not currently have a code redemption system. All Quidz must be earned through gameplay and daily logins. Beware of scam sites claiming to have codes!
Buy 2D Bart (60 Quidz) first — it's S-tier for only 60 Quidz. Then save for Emo (235 Quidz) for dark maps. See our optimal spending guide.
Rounds last precisely 175 seconds (≈3 minutes): 30 seconds for Barts to hide (Homer boxed), then 145 seconds of active hunting. Final 30 seconds enter "Sudden Death" where Homer can see survivor nametags through walls.
Homer selection is random each round. There's no way to guarantee being Homer. Just keep playing and you'll eventually be selected.
Wall-hopping is an advanced movement technique. Jump against a wall and time a second jump at the peak to reach higher locations like rooftops. See our mechanics guide for details.
Currently 8+ maps including Simpson House, Springfield Neighborhood, Moe's Tavern, Krusty Krab, Mall, Park, Island Bar, and Spaceship. New maps are added in updates. See our full maps guide.
The main events are HOMERWEEN (Halloween, October) and BARTMAS (Christmas, December). Events feature exclusive limited-time skins, themed map decorations, and double Quidz rewards.
Most event skins remain available for purchase after the event, but at higher prices. Some exclusive event skins may become unavailable. Buy them during the event for the best deal!
